1. Nizuc Resort and Spa
The resort is home to five pools, including a family-friendly main pool, an adults-only pool and a lap pool outside of Terra Nostra. The main pool features a swim-up bar and ocean vistas, and the adults-only pool sits just below the lap pool. All pools feature infinity-edge designs. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are located on the pool decks surrounding the adults-only and main pools. Pool cabanas are also available near the main pool. At the beach, guests can use complimentary water sports equipment like paddleboards, kayaks and snorkeling gear. Paddle boarding lessons, scuba diving demos and on-site snorkeling tours are available weekly as well.
2. Fairmont Mayakoba, Riviera Maya
The Fairmont Mayakoba has five pools, including the resort’s main 10,000-square-foot Island Pool with a swim-up bar for adults and waterslides for kids. There are also an adults-only infinity pool with lagoon views and a children’s splash pool and wading area. Close to the beach is an infinity-edge pool; the Bamboo Pool is near the main lobby. Additionally, the resort sits along a stretch of white sand beach that can be reached via golf cart or bicycle.
