5. Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
The resort introduced golf to the region back in 1928 with the Ocean Course, which was designed by Herbert Strong and features a mix of strategically placed bunkers and lagoons. The property also offers a second option, the Lagoon Course, which was added in 1961 and designed by Robert Trent Jones and Joe Lee. Both courses offer 18 holes and share three putting greens, a practice bunker and a pitching and chipping green.

 

6. The Phoenician, A Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale
The 18-hole course plays to a par 71 and offers four sets of player-friendly tees, ranging from 4,575 yards from the forward tees to 6,518 yards from the championship tees.
