Hotel de l’ITHQ is an environmentally friendly hotel that’s in the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles. It is also only a few blocks from the Ville Marie borough in Old Montreal and is within walking distance of the city’s main attractions, including restaurants and the expansive Parc du Mont-Royal. To remain ecologically conscious, the hotel adheres to strict a recycling policy, features water-saving devices on fixtures in rooms, composts and washes sheets and towels every couple of days, saving plenty of water in the process. Despite its name, this historic hotel in downtown Vancouver is not affiliated with the St. Regis brand. But according to recent guests, The St. Regis Hotel is just as luxurious thanks to its attentive customer service and ample amenities. Rooms are outfitted with complimentary Fiji water (replenished daily), complimentary Wi-Fi access, L’Occitane toiletries and LCD TVs. But the free perks don’t stop with the accommodations: Guests also receive a complimentary breakfast for two and complimentary daily passes to the Steve Nash Sports Club, located one block west of the hotel. And thanks to the hotel’s central location, you’ll be within walking distance to some of downtown Vancouver’s best eateries — a perk recent guests said will be their main motivation for returning. If you’d rather stick close to the hotel, you’ll also find a bar and grill on site, in addition to a steakhouse. No need to leave the property for your daily caffeine fix either; the St. Regis boasts its own Starbucks.
