The games played by celebrity Gamers

7. Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps Plays Hours Of Call Of Duty A Day

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time, having won a total of 28 medals. And FYI, 23 of those medals were gold. So, yeah, we’d say he’s a pretty good swimmer. However, all that training and swimming didn’t stop Phelps from enjoying Call of Duty.

In 2012, Phelps told The Post Game that he played about thirty hours of Call of Duty a week, which if our math is correct (and let’s be honest, it’s probably not), is over four hours per day. Who says playing video games is bad for productivity?

8. Daniel Craig Enjoys Playing Grand Theft Auto And Loves Halo’s Lore-Heavy Story

James Bond is another reported gamer. So, that means we have Superman, the most decorated Olympian ever, and James Bond playing video games. Yeah, we think they’re mainstream now. Craig has gone on record and said that he enjoys the Grand Theft Auto series, particularly Vice City, but that he can only play them for so long before feeling “dirty.”

He also loves games with long stories and used Halo as a great example of how gaming can tell long, complex, and lore-heavy stories. Who knew James Bond was so cool? Well, everyone, actually.
